Jam Build Out!


Greetings,

Another jam in the books. I tried this time to make an experience that was a bit more interactive. I was heavily inspired by the idea of a circular world spinning around a spire, which may or may not be on the back of a giant turtle and some elephants. For legal reasons lets say it isn't. 

I wanted the player to have some agency to control the motion of the sky, and to have a few little puzzles that involve using the sky mechanics. I managed to get a couple simple obstacles in that require controlling the sky, but nowhere near the scope that i was hoping for. The game ends up being mostly an atmospheric experience with a few collectibles thrown in. 

There is an ongoing issue with sound popping, that I think has to do with the number of collisions going on with the day night cycle detection. I will continue to work on that, but its not too bad at the moment.
